OK, so technically, it's not a cartoon.    But it certainly is "cartoon-like," and way too good to pass up.  This actual sign was reportedly photographed July 25, 2011 on Main Street in Bison, KS during record-breaking drought.    Dodge City had already experienced 30 days with highs over 100 degrees F.

On June 6, 2012, Venus crossed between the earth and the sun, and even that won't happen again until 2117.

 Venus appeared as a tiny dot on the face of the sun.    It demonstrated the sun's enormity compared to Earth, which is approximately the same size as Venus.
